JPN, the pester

The National Registry Department (JPN) somehow set my religious status as "Buddha" in my Identification Card (IC) without me realizing until I found out a few weeks back. So, I went to JPN Ipoh just now to change my address & religion status. Wah, to change the religious status alone is of so much hassle. Here's the conversation (translated from Bahasa Melayu): 

Me           : Sir, I am a Christian but I do not know why I am stated as Buddhist in my IC.

JPN Staff : Hmm..Have you just converted to Christianity?

Me           : No. I have been a Christian for many years.

JPN Staff : Are you sure? What about your parents? Are they Christians? 

Me           : Ya, I am sure I have been a Christian for many years now. And my parents are 

                  Christians too. 

                 *wondering what my parent's religious status has got to do here and what 

                  would happen if they aren't of the same faith*

JPN Staff : Are you sure they are? Can you provide me their names?

Me           : Yes, I am sure they are Christians.

                  *gave him the names of my parents for verification* 

JPN Staff : So, you said you are a Christian and want to change your religion in your IC. 

                  Are you sure?

Me           : Yes, I am absolutely sure.

                  *getting a little pissed already*

JPN Staff : OK. But u have to fill up a form first. 

                  *handed me a form*

Me           : OK. No problem. 

                 *filled up the form instantaneously and submitted after a minute*

JPN Staff : If you submit this, it means you want to change your religion to Christianity. 

                 There's no turning back. Are you sure?

Me           : Yes. Yes. I am sure.
                  *getting very annoyed and controlling hard my temper by smiling back*
JPN Staff : OK. I will change it for you through the computer now. But, are you sure you 
                  want to do this?
Me           : Aiyo, you want to ask me how many times la?  Yes, I want to! I want to!! Don't 
                 ask me again!
                 *showed my effing pissed face*
JPN Staff : Ok..
                 *passed me the receipt with a very dissatisfied face*

I wonder if it is in their SOP to ask "Are you sure?" 5 times...deng
