What would you do for your boyfriend's birthday? Surprise him with the most luxurious gift you've ever bought? Kidnap him to a surprise, romantic getaway? or get all greasy in the kitchen to cook him/her a nice, hearty meal?
I wanted to do something different for my man's birthday...Since he never had a birthday party before, a big surprise birthday party with close friends and colleagues was what in mind...Worried that he may not like it, I indirectly asked him about the idea and he shook his head. Aiks, he preferred birthday celebrations to be a private affair...Ok, so Plan A failed.
Plan B ain't that bad, just not as grand. I gave him a photobook reminiscing the birth of this relationship; 2 casual shirts, which I bought during one of the meeting trips in Kota Kinabalu; a just-the-two-of us birthday dinner with his fav foods, of course,...and a mini no-bake oreo cheesecake.
The 60-pages long photobook took me more than a month to create. Well, the time spent is definitely well worth! He was extremely thrilled when he got this lil gift. By the way, I enjoyed digging into the old pics and had so much fun laughing over those silly pics of his. Here's a glimpse into the photobook:
