Prewedding photography (Part 1)

Many do not believe that JW & I did not actually do much prior research on pre-wedding photographers and bridal galleries before we engaged Lucas Ting & Memories Bridal Gallery (MBG) for our pre-wedding photography. In fact, we did not visit any bridal gallery (not even MBG) nor did we check out any other pre-wedding photography packages before signing up with MBG. Guess what...we have not even heard of Lucas Ting back then!!

This happened on one of the weekends in August last year (just a few months after the proposal, when we have not even started the wedding planning). As JW and I were wandering in Eastern Plaza (the only shopping complex in Tawau), we stumbled across a beautiful photo displayed in a pathetically small "wedding fair" (with only 2 exhibitors). We went forward to have a look at the other photos by the exhibitor (MBG)...Oh goodness, the scenic landscapes of Sabah captured in those photos were just breathtaking. The photography skills were equally good. MBG has 3 award winning photographers, in which we like Lucas's work most. We were quite determined to sign up instantly but what held us back was we don't get to see their entire collection of bridal wear as the gallery is few hundreds kilometres away in KK, plus, we have not heard any reviews of them thus far.

After a long day of deep thoughts, some findings over the net and discussions with married friends, we decided to take the leap of faith. An even bigger one. We upgraded the package to 4-full days photoshooting in KK Town, Kundasang and Bunga Raya Island. Thinking back, it was indeed an act of faith..Hahaha..Thank God, the pictures turned out AWESOME!!

This is one of my fav (we were fully drenched in water while posing for this shot, more stories & pics in my next post)
