My wife and son

Sleeping beside me they are,

A little boy, my beautiful wife,

Blessedly and blissfully,

Into the sweetest of dreams they go.

Looking at the both of them,

Bring me to heaven,

They mean the world to me,

They make sense in this crazy world,

When everything seems wrong,

Looking at them both,

Makes things go right.

My sweet boy,

Grow up to be a man,

A man better than your father,

A man after God's own heart,

A man surpassing my life.

My lovely wife,

Thank you for being you,

Thank you for being strong,

Thank you for bringing my boy into this world.

My dearest darling,

For all the wrongs I have done,

Some you know,

Some you don't,

Forgive your husband who is but a man.

My sweetest thing,

I love you dearly,

I adore your very being,

You mean the world to me,

I love you always.

My boy,

Bone of my bones,

Flesh of my flesh,

Remember your mother's bosoms,

For they nurse your small self,

They make you strong and keep you healthy,

There will be days when you are disciplined,

Where you are punished,

But know that you are loved,

That's why we never spare the rod.

Sweet wife of mine,

You are the joy of me life,

You are the good thing God has bestowed upon me,

You are the blessed woman that Jesus loves,

He has done a great service by giving me you,

I thank the Father for allowing me to be in your life.

They are laying beside me,

I kiss my little boy followed by my lovely wife,

They mean the world to me,

They inspire me,

They encourage me,

They are blessings I do not deserve,

Thank You, Jesus, thank You,

For giving them to me.

Lo Pak Gou (White Radish Cake) with Thermomix

Pardon me for taking a very long break from the series of wedding preparation blog entries. I left the planner (in which I kept all wedding vendors' info) back in Setia Alam...*sigh*...so my next entry on wedding prep would not be anytime soon..so sorry!

I'll be talking about my luxury toy, Thermomix (TM) in this entry. Due to the hefty price tag, I have been contemplating to get this amazing kitchen helper for some time...and finally, I bought one not long ago after months of saving. So far, I have been using it much for making smoothies (oh my, I drank so much of them throughout my pregnancy), sorbet,  pastry, sauces, soups, buns, cakes and pizzas. Soon, I'll be exploiting this german maid to make Isaac's baby food. hmm, can't wait! :)

Anyway, I made Lo Pak Gou (White Radish Cake) with TM last week and it was a success! It is definitely easier and faster with TM...Alright, I am sharing the recipe here. Enjoy!
